Everyone needs some time off… even lifeguard towers! “Off Duty 1” features a row of lifeguard towers during the winter months when they are put aside and taken “off duty.” This piece is deceptively simple, because when you look closer you can observe so much more than meets the eye! The first layer of the composition showcases the stunning texture of the Malibu sand that is highlighted by strong sunlight, which creates intense shadows in the many footprints. In the middle of the piece are 3 lifeguard towers decorated with numbers and messaging about keeping the beaches clean. Finally, the third section of this piece features a vibrant, clear blue sky with the addition of a subtle rainbow off to the left-hand side, adding a bit of whimsy! This fun piece will bring joy any room!

This piece is available in two sizes:
- 14" x 14" image on 16" x 16" paper. Limited edition of only 10 at this size.
- 28" x 28" image on 30" x 30" paper. Limited edition of only 5 at this size.
Unframed prints for this piece will be cut to the exact paper size listed above.
Framed prints for this piece will be framed at the edge of the paper size, which adds about 1 1/4 “ to the overall size of the piece. Each piece is mounted, set back in the frame with a spacer, and placed under plexiglass.

Paper type:
This piece is processed on Hahnenuehle Photo Rag Ultrasmooth 305 GSM paper. This is an archival/museum quality paper made from 100% cotton. This is a unique, thick paper with a completely smooth, matte surface.
Off Duty 1
- All prints are processed at a fine art photo lab in Los Angeles, CA, and personally inspected by Brooke, before they are shipped out.
- Each print is hand-signed and numbered by Brooke, and each piece comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
- All frames are custom made by hand in Los Angeles, CA.

We highly recommended that you do not handle unframed prints yourself, but rather take the packaged print directly to the framer and allow the framer to handle the piece with the care that is needed for a fine art photograph.
